VARIODRIVE Drive and Control Technology B.V. values the protection of your personal data. In this privacy policy, we aim to provide clear and transparent information about how we handle personal data. Processing of customer or supplier personal data

Personal data of customers or suppliers are processed by VARIODRIVE Drive and Control Technology B.V. for the following purpose(s): Administrative purposes; Communication regarding the order; Execution or issuance of an order. For the above-mentioned purpose(s), if necessary, VARIODRIVE Drive and Control Technology B.V. may request the following personal data from you: First name; Prefix; Last name; (Business) phone number; (Business) email address; Gender. VARIODRIVE Drive and Control Technology B.V. stores your personal data for the aforementioned processing during the term of the agreement and afterwards in the administration for a maximum of 7 years.

Processing of personal data (subscribers) for the VARIODRIVE newsletter

Personal data of subscribers to the Newsletter are processed by VARIODRIVE Drive and Control Technology B.V. for the following purpose: informing the person through news releases. The legal basis for these personal data is the subscription form and/or the consent data for the Newsletter; For the above-mentioned purpose(s), VARIODRIVE Drive and Control Technology B.V. may request the following personal data from you: First name; Prefix; Last name; Email address and Company name. VARIODRIVE Drive and Control Technology B.V. stores your personal data for the aforementioned processing during the period that one is subscribed; upon unsubscribing, this data will be deleted.

Processing of prospect and/or interested party personal data

Personal data of prospects and/or interested parties are processed by VARIODRIVE Drive and Control Technology B.V. for the following purpose(s): providing information in the form of newsletters and/or targeted contacts. The legal basis for these personal data is the provision of personal data via the website, oral consent, handing out business cards, and/or LinkedIn connections. For the above-mentioned purpose(s), VARIODRIVE Drive and Control Technology B.V. may request the following personal data from you: First name; Prefix; Last name; Phone number; Email address and Company name. VARIODRIVE Drive and Control Technology B.V. stores your personal data for the aforementioned processing during the period that one is considered a prospect and/or interested party.

Provision to third parties

We may provide the data you give us to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the purposes described below.

For example, we use a third party for:

Managing the online environment (read our cookie statement);
Supporting (financial) administration;
Sending digital newsletters;

We never provide personal data to other parties with whom we have not concluded a sub-processor agreement. With these parties (processors), we naturally make the necessary agreements to ensure the security of your personal data. Furthermore, we will not provide the data you provide to other parties unless this is legally required and permitted. An example of this is that the tax authorities request business and/or personal data from us as part of an investigation. Retention period

VARIODRIVE Drive and Control Technology B.V. does not store personal data for longer than necessary for the purpose for which they were provided or required by law.

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing; for example, we have taken the following measures:

All persons who may become aware of your data on behalf of VARIODRIVE Drive and Control Technology B.V. are obliged to maintain confidentiality thereof.
We have a username and password policy on all our systems;
We create backups of all data, including personal data, to be able to restore them in the event of physical or technical incidents;
We regularly test and evaluate our measures;
Our employees have been informed about the importance of protecting personal data.

Rights concerning your data

You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority; this is the supervisory authority in the field of privacy protection.
